Privacy Policy
How Minesweeper Evolved, published by ARKBS Labs, handles your information. Last updated September 2026.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ARKBS Labs (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you play Minesweeper Evolved (the “Game” or “Service”). The Game is operated on the Base44 platform, a third-party service that hosts the Game and provides sign-in and data storage on our behalf.
By accessing or using the Game, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. You can review this policy at any time at https://minesweeperevolved.online/privacy.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide: a display name (username) you choose when setting up your profile, and an optional avatar selection.
Account information: a unique account identifier is created when you sign in through a supported provider. Your email address may be received from that provider to manage your account.
Gameplay information: completion times, best times, difficulty, board size, mine count, wins and losses, streaks, stars earned, levels completed, daily challenge results, Blitz Points (virtual currency), power-up inventory, and leaderboard entries.
We do not collect payment or billing information. No in-app purchases are implemented in the current version of the Game.
3. Information collected automatically
When you use the Game, certain technical information may be processed by the Base44 platform to operate the Service, including:
- Account identifiers used to authenticate your session.
- Timestamps associated with gameplay submissions (used for rate limiting and daily challenges).
- Basic request and diagnostic data handled by the hosting platform.
The Game does not request access to your device camera, contacts, microphone, or location. We do not collect precise geolocation.
4. How we use information
- To create and manage your player profile and cloud progress.
- To record scores, times, stars and leaderboard entries.
- To operate daily challenges, streaks, achievements and rewards.
- To track Blitz Points and power-up inventory.
- To enable friends and head-to-head challenge features.
- To prevent duplicate reward claims and detect suspicious or unfair activity.
- To maintain and improve the Game’s stability and performance.
5. Guest players
The current version of Minesweeper Evolved requires you to sign in to access gameplay and cloud features. There is no separate guest play mode, and no guest progress is uploaded to our servers under an anonymous identifier.
Some device-level preferences (such as music and sound-effect settings) may be saved locally on your device before or after you sign in. Because these are stored only on your device, they are not linked to an account until you sign in, and clearing app or browser storage will remove them.
6. Accounts and authentication
Authentication is handled through the Base44 platform. You can sign in using one of the supported third-party providers: Google, Apple, Facebook and Microsoft.
When you sign in with a provider, that provider shares the account information needed to create your session (such as a stable identifier and, where applicable, your email address). ARKBS Labs does not directly receive or store your provider password. Authentication data is processed by the provider you choose and by Base44 as the authentication operator.
7. Gameplay data and cloud progress
For authenticated players, gameplay data is stored securely through the Base44 platform. This includes:
- Completion time and best time per level.
- Difficulty, board dimensions and mine count for each run.
- Wins and losses, stars earned and levels completed.
- Login streaks and daily challenge results.
- Blitz Points balance and purchased power-up inventory.
- Per-run attempt records used for fair-play verification.
Each gameplay submission includes a unique session identifier so the Game can award rewards only once and prevent duplicate claims.
8. Leaderboards and public information
The Game displays public leaderboards. The following information may be visible to other players on a leaderboard:
- Your display name.
- Your score, completion time, rank and level reached.
- Cumulative campaign score and number of levels rewarded.
Private email addresses are not intentionally displayed on leaderboards or public screens. Leaderboard data is read from the Base44 entities that store scores and ranks.
9. Advertising
The Android app version of Minesweeper Evolved shows Google AdMob ads through a native ad bridge built into the Android app wrapper (Google Mobile Ads SDK, with Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent). Two ad types are used:
- Rewarded ads — after hitting a mine, you can choose “Watch Ad to Continue.” The level only resumes if the ad is watched in full; closing early, declining, or an ad failing to load never blocks or restarts the game.
- Interstitial ads — may appear after you complete or fail a level.
Both ad types are delivered only through the installed Android app. The browser version has no native ad bridge and does not request or show these ads.
Google may process advertising identifiers and related information through the Mobile Ads SDK to select and measure these ads; that processing is governed by Google’s own policies. Where required, the native app presents an advertising consent choice, and your selection is respected when ads are requested.
10. Analytics and diagnostics
The Game does not integrate a third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We do not send gameplay events to an external analytics provider.
The Base44 hosting platform may process standard operational and diagnostic data necessary to run and secure the Service. Internally, the Game records gameplay outcomes (such as scores and completion times) as part of normal operation, not as analytics tracking.
11. Local storage and device storage
The Game stores the following information locally on your device using your browser or app’s storage:
- Game progress (levels completed, stars, best times, win/loss history, daily history).
- Login streak information.
- Music and sound-effect preferences and music volume.
- Preferred difficulty and level-select view.
- Cached Blitz Points balance and cached power-up inventory.
- Selected avatar.
- Scroll positions within some screens (session storage, cleared when you close the app).
Clearing app data, clearing browser data, or uninstalling the app may delete locally stored information. Cloud progress tied to your account is not affected by clearing local storage.
12. Third-party services
The Game relies on the following third-party services:
- Base44 — hosting, authentication, database storage and backend functions for the Game.
- Sign-in providers (Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft) — used only when you choose to sign in with that provider.
- Google Fonts — loads the display and body typefaces used in the Game’s interface.
These providers operate under their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle information. We encourage you to review them.
13. Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. To operate the Game, your information is processed by service providers that are necessary to deliver the Service, including Base44 (for hosting, authentication and data storage) and, when you use them, your chosen sign-in providers.
Certain gameplay information is displayed publicly through leaderboards and challenge features, as described above. We may disclose information when required to do so by law or to protect the rights, safety or integrity of the Service and its players.
14. Data retention
Account information and cloud gameplay data are retained while your account remains active. Some records (such as transaction logs and anti-cheat records) may be retained where required for fraud prevention, security or legal obligations.
Locally stored data remains on your device until app or browser storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
15. Account and data deletion
You can delete your account and associated data from within the Game:
Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account → Delete Forever
This deletes your player profile, standard and campaign leaderboard entries, campaign level rewards and result claims, friend connections and head-to-head challenges, and your cloud gameplay progress and Blitz Point balance. All Minesweeper-specific data stored locally on your device is also cleared, and you are signed out. The deletion is processed by a single authenticated backend action that acts only on your own account.
A public explanation of the deletion process is available at https://minesweeperevolved.online/DeleteAccount.
If you cannot access the Game, you can also request deletion by emailing support@arkbslabs.com from the address connected to your account. Include “Minesweeper Evolved Account Deletion Request” in the subject line. Identity verification may be required.
Data that is anonymized and retained: to protect fair play, transaction integrity and security, the following records may be retained with all direct identifiers removed (your user id and name are replaced with an irreversible anonymous marker):
- Game attempts — for anti-cheat analysis, retained for up to approximately 90 days.
- Blitz Point transaction ledger — for reconciliation and accounting integrity.
- Suspicious-activity / security logs — for security review.
These retained records contain no public display name, email or reversible link back to you.
Authentication account: the Game attempts to remove your login account as the final step. Where the platform does not permit the app to delete the built-in authentication account directly, your application data is still fully deleted or anonymized and you may request revocation of the login identity via support@arkbslabs.com.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted for security, fraud prevention, legal or transaction-integrity purposes.
After deletion, signing in again with the same provider creates a completely new, empty account. Your previous progress, scores, friends and Blitz Points do not return.
16. Children's privacy
The Game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, you can contact support@arkbslabs.com to request review or deletion of that information.
17. International data processing
The Game and its service providers (including Base44 and sign-in providers) may process information in countries other than your country of residence. By using the Game, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries as necessary to operate the Service.
18. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal data.
- Request deletion of your personal data.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
- Request data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact support@arkbslabs.com.
19. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Game after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
